Announcing our new integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Today we are excited to announce a new integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
Today we are excited to announce a new integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), allowing brands to build audience segments directly in the mParticle platform that connect to SFMC as well as dozens of other platforms for truly orchestrated, multi-channel engagement.
mParticle provides a centralized platform for marketers to segment users and manage those segments across marketing and advertising partners. With the addition of the SFMC audience integration marketers can now:
- Use mParticle to collect customer data from mobile apps, web and connected devices, and convert that data into audience segments, which then appear as target lists in SFMC. For example, a marketer could build an audience of “shopping cart abandoners” which triggers a reminder email generated by SFMC featuring the specific products in their carts.
- Use mParticle Audience Builder to create audience segments based on campaign performance data from SFMC to retarget users in real-time. For example, a marketer could build an audience of users who opened a promotion email but didn’t complete a purchase within the last week then connect the audience to SFMC to send a follow-up email with an alternate offer.
- Use mParticle to coordinate email campaigns in SFMC with paid media efforts managed by other partners. For example, a brand could build an audience once in mParticle, and connect it to SFMC, Facebook and Pinterest with the push a button, without manually uploading the same list to each platform individually.
This latest integration expand upon our existing events and feeds integration with SFMC and exemplifies how mParticle breaks down data silos and unifies customer data, making it possible for marketers to exceed their goals.
